    One of the challenges faced by mobile health agencies (home health, home care and hospice) is the constant pressure to do more with less, especially when it comes to reimbursing mobile workers for time and travel. As mandated by government, Medicaid requires Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) in order to reimburse health workers who see patients off-premises.     fieldSAVVY is our GPS geo-tracking solution to address this issue with minimal interaction from the user. Our solution can pull appointment schedules from any scheduling or electronic medical/health record system and deliver that data to the mobile health worker’s smart device. It works with your existing systems - no need to replace anything! An application on the mobile device runs in the background and tracks how time was spent on the road or with the patient. The distance and time traveled to any of the appointments is also captured automatically. The mobile user has full access to all of his or her appointment schedules. The mobile application provides a real-time map view of the best route to be taken to an appointment. And it can show an optimized route for all of the day’s appointments, minimizing travel time and distance.

    HomaCare fieldSAVVY automatically tracks location, status, time, and mileage in the background.

    Appointment data is synced with the fieldSAVVY Mobile App. Location, status, mileage & time data is uploaded to the cloud.

    fieldSAVVY can work offline without any loss of information. When online the mobile application syncs with the cloud based software-as-a-service (SAAS) backend, displaying on an admin console the near real-time status of all of mobile users. Both the user and the administrator can track exact time spent on the road and with the patient and also the distance traveled between appointments, including office visits.


    Our product is also integrated with our dataSAVVY™️ and paySAVVY™️ products. Information pulled from fieldSAVVY can be used to feed dataSAVVY charts or can be used by paySAVVY to calculate actual mileage reimbursement in a form consumable by payroll systems for payroll processing.
